History Of The Club
The ‘North Wiltshire’ Arsenal Supporters Club was established at the beginning of the 2003-04 season to help local fans attend home matches and for club members to meet other fans and enjoy a social aspect. The club has been regularly taking up to 40 fans from the Swindon area to each home game and has a membership base of around 200.
How the club is run
The supporters club is based in Swindon where most of our membership live and where the club holds it’s monthly meetings. The club generally aims to support fans in and around a 30 mile radius from Swindon itself.
The club is supported by a dedicated committee who meet a few days prior to each club meeting to address any issues raised by Arsenal FC or from our members in previous meetings. Our monthly meetings are an opportunity for the membership to hear about various issues relating to our club typically including ticket allocation, social events and any related business.
The meetings are typically held on Friday evenings at the Kingsdown Pub, located in Hyde Road, Stratton, Swindon.
Ticket Allocation
The club receives one ticket per silver membership within the club. The silver memberships are typically the ownership of individuals from within the club and therefore those members hold the right to claim the use of their silver membership to claim a ticket for any match during the season. When a silver member does not wish to attend any match the club can use that ticket for the clubs non-silver membership. More details are available within the club rules.
